Once a down-at-heel area of south London, Bermondsey Spa has been given a new lease of life thanks to a massive regeneration project spanning 20 years. We are proud to have been involved in this, working on more than 300 new-build apartments over three phases. This included installing a central energy centre/boiler house with combined heat and power plant (CHP) as well as boilers, and providing heat interface units to supply heating and hot water to the shared ownership and private housing flats, which have pre-fabricated bathroom pods.

SEAL CARE HOME

The care home sector is a growing market in the UK with increasingly sophisticated requirements that include not only high-quality accommodation but also communal facilities such as cafes and dining rooms. So we were delighted to be involved in a 75-bed care home providing services such as installing a low temperature hot water (LTHW) heating system, as well as ventilation, comfort cooling, hot and cold water services, gas services and a sprinkler system plus above-ground drainage.

BENTLEY HOUSE
HACKNEY, LONDON
This mixed-use development of 18 apartments, six shops and four split-level office units was part of a brownfield site conversion in a north London Conservation Area. It involved a sensitive redevelopment of a 1950s industrial building and we were called in to install the central plant. Heating and hot water is provided to each flat by way of heat interface units (HIUs), with individual ventilation systems throughout. We also installed other systems such as Air Conditioning (VRF) and a building management system.
